About the role

Taiba Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse within its Nursing Services department. The nurse delivers direct patient care, responds to emergencies and supports the team, with clear performance targets such as rounding on every patient every two hours and administering all medications according to hospital policy.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, monitor and prioritise patient needs, and give discharge instructions to patients and families
• Administer medications, IV therapy and blood transfusions safely, including high-alert medications
• Respond quickly to life-threatening situations in line with nursing standards and hospital protocols
• Serve as relief Charge Registered Nurse and teach fellow nurses core clinical skills
• Maintain accurate documentation while upholding quality, safety and regulatory standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institute
• At least 3 years of nursing experience after obtaining the bachelor's degree
• First Aid, CPR, ACLS, BLS, PALS and NRP certifications where applicable
• Nursing competencies in at least two additional clinical areas
• Fluent English and a basic understanding of the hospital's nursing Arabic vocabulary
