Sales & Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Sales & Procurement Specialist will drive business growth by identifying tender opportunities, preparing competitive bids, and managing supplier relationships. This role bridges the gap between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant tender submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor government, ministry, and private‑sector tender opportunities.
• Review tender documents, specifications, and commercial requirements.
• Prepare compliance sheets, technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, datasheets, certifications, and samples.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Submit tender documents within deadlines and ensure full compliance.
• Track tender status, clarifications, evaluations, and award notifications.
• Convert quotations into purchase orders and coordinate delivery schedules after order confirmation.
• Identify new business opportunities, generate sales leads, and conduct product presentations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports and resolve customer concerns.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in tendering, sales, procurement or business development.
• Experience with government tenders is an advantage.
• Background in safety, industrial, fire protection, oil & gas, or construction sectors preferred.
