Section Manager – Dairy (Retail)

About the role

The Section Manager – Dairy leads the dairy department of a hypermarket in Kuwait, ensuring product quality, freshness and an attractive range to meet sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor competitor activities such as pricing, range and promotions to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Negotiate internal promotions with suppliers and enforce discount positioning within the dairy section.
• Develop and maintain a competitive assortment that meets customer expectations.
• Oversee commercial pricing policy and ensure compliance with store guidelines.
• Manage conservation, utilization and profitability of department assets.
• Support comparative studies and commercial concepts to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Diploma in Commerce or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years experience in retail business, with at least 1 year in an operations supervisory role.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation.
• Effective time‑management skills.
