Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable handling month‑end close, budgeting, and customer billing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Report business transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Assist the team with month‑end close activities, including journal entries and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Research and analyze expense variances for management review.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate on budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
• Support financial planning and performance analysis to align with business strategy.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure audit compliance.
• Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Oversee accounts receivable monitoring and control.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects, providing financial insights for business development.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
• CFA designation preferred.
