Senior Financial Advisor

About the role

Numerica Financial Advisory is seeking a Senior Financial Advisor to own end‑to‑end bookkeeping for client portfolios and provide advisory support. The role combines rigorous financial reporting with strategic advice, serving a diverse client base in Kuwait City.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle bookkeeping for assigned clients, including AP, AR, bank and credit‑card reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end close processes: accruals, prepaids, depreciation schedules, fixed‑asset registers, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow statements.
• Post and review journal entries, maintain supporting schedules, and ensure audit‑ready documentation.
• Apply revenue recognition and deferred revenue treatment in accordance with IFRS.
• Set up and maintain client charts of accounts in Xero and Odoo, including migrations and bank‑feed rules.
• Produce budget‑vs‑actual variance analysis and cash‑flow forecasts with commentary.
• Build financial models and assist with feasibility studies as needed.
• Support annual audits, statutory filings, and act as primary point of contact for client queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field; advanced certifications such as CMA, ACCA, CPA or FMVA are required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial advisory or wealth management, preferably in a consultancy or client‑facing environment.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent professional communication skills to explain complex financial concepts.
