About the role
TalentScript is recruiting a Senior Investment Accountant for a Kuwait-based holding company. You will join a small finance team and personally handle investment accounting across several group entities, from recording transactions to reporting them in the financial statements.
Key responsibilities
- Record investment purchases, disposals, dividend income and related gains or losses.
- Reconcile investment balances against supporting statements and investigate differences before month-end close.
- Prepare IFRS financial statements for assigned entities and support intercompany reconciliations and group consolidation.
- Prepare investment schedules for external auditors and respond to audit queries.
Required profile
- At least four years of accounting experience, including hands-on responsibility for recording and reconciling investment transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a completed CA, CPA, ACCA or CMA qualification.
- Practical IFRS and multi-entity accounting experience.
