Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

A leading international EPC contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join its qualified team on a project in Kuwait. The role involves preparing and maintaining baseline and revised schedules across all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare contract baseline and revised schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, pre‑commissioning and commissioning phases.
• Assist the Project Controls Manager with reports, registers, and control procedures for planning, progress measurement and scheduling.
• Review schedule updates, coordinate with project teams, and ensure accurate progress recording.
• Highlight deviations or delays to management and support claim and extension‑of‑time analysis.
• Help prepare weekly and monthly reports, budgets and maintain planning records.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering or construction.
• Proven experience as a planning engineer on EPC oil‑and‑gas projects in the Middle East.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling processes.
• Ability to use delay analysis methods for claims and extensions of time.
