About the role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a leading retail and e‑commerce organization in Kuwait. The role combines hands‑on development with leadership of a high‑performing engineering team, focusing on customer‑facing web and mobile platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Write and maintain core product code for website and mobile applications.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate a cross‑functional team of developers.
- Design, develop, and enhance features such as search engines and Apple Pay integration.
- Own the full product lifecycle from architecture to deployment and continuous improvement.
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and enforce engineering best practices.
Required profile
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- Proven experience in building and scaling web and mobile‑enabled platforms.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Required skills
- Laravel and PHP.
- RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
- JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
- Flutter for mobile development.
- AWS cloud services.
- CI/CD pipeline development.
