About the role

The Calibration Assistant Engineer ensures that all instruments and testing devices used in manufacturing plants and R&D laboratories are accurately calibrated, maintained, and compliant with cGMP, ISO 17025, safety, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform calibration of instruments and testing devices according to established standards and document results.
• Enter calibration data into SAP, label instruments, and close related notifications on the same day.
• Support engineering maintenance activities and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Prepare and organise calibration documentation, including certificates and raw data from third‑party providers.
• Review and upload third‑party calibration certificates in SAP and close monthly M5 notifications for reference standards.
• Monitor and follow up on remedial actions, OTC, and UMO documentation across all Julphar plants.
• Generate monthly KPI reports for the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, good documentation practices, and ISO 17025 guidelines.
• Understanding of measurement‑uncertainty calculations and calibration standards.
• Excellent English communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
