Staff Nurse - Site Clinic (Construction Project)

About the role

A construction project at the Kuwait International Terminal Building 2 is urgently looking for a qualified and experienced nurse to work in its site clinic. The nurse provides first aid, emergency care and occupational health services to the workforce, responding to medical needs in line with project HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses
• Assess, monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions
• Administer medications, dressings and basic treatments as prescribed or authorised
• Respond promptly to emergencies on site and coordinate ambulance or hospital transfers
• Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs and incident reports
• Manage clinic stock, medicines and first aid supplies, and keep equipment in working order
• Support the HSE team with health inspections, toolbox talks and health awareness programmes
• Help with pre-employment and periodic medical checks for workers
• Follow infection control, hygiene and waste disposal procedures and report incidents in line with client, project and Kuwait MOH requirements

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN or GNM)
• Valid nursing licence; Kuwait MOH licence, or ability to obtain it quickly
• At least 2 to 5 years of experience, preferably in emergency, occupational health or construction site clinics
• Good English communication; Arabic, Hindi or Urdu is an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies calmly
• Willingness to work on site in shifts as required
