Store Manager – Hypermarket (Kuwait)

About the role

The Store Manager will lead all operations of a hypermarket in Kuwait, driving sales growth, profitability and operational excellence while ensuring a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational and commercial strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Drive sales growth, profitability and cost control within approved budgets.
• Monitor commercial performance through data analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee inventory management, stock availability, replenishment and shrinkage reduction.
• Ensure pricing, promotions and merchandising standards are applied correctly.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, store presentation, hygiene, safety and security.
• Develop, coach and manage department managers and store teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, health and safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of retail operations experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within hypermarkets or large‑format retail.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to drive sales and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, people management and team development skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management and organizational skills.
