Talent Development Senior Specialist

About the role

The Talent Development Senior Specialist will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of learning programs that build employee capabilities, onboard new hires, and nurture early‑career talent. This role aligns development initiatives with stc’s business objectives and ensures smooth execution of all training activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assess training needs through surveys, manager discussions, and business requirements.
• Assist in creating and maintaining the annual training plan and calendar.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery of employee, leadership, digital, functional, and future‑skills programs.
• Research and recommend suitable training providers, certifications, and development solutions.
• Manage logistics for trainings, including nominations, registrations, venues, materials, and communications.
• Support new‑joiner induction, onboarding, internship, and early‑career programs.
• Collaborate with internal SMEs, external providers, universities, and community partners.
• Collect and analyse feedback to measure satisfaction and learning effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate training records in HRIS and produce participation, cost, and outcome reports.
• Contribute to talent development policies, procedures, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in talent development, learning, or HR training functions.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS or learning management systems.
• Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
