Tax Compliance Advisor – International Tax Practice (Kuwait)

About the role

Our client, a top‑tier law firm in Kuwait, is expanding its Tax Practice and seeks a technically gifted Tax Compliance Advisor. The role will support multinational corporations, sovereign wealth funds and private equity clients on complex cross‑border transactions and high‑stakes advisory mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee multi‑jurisdictional tax compliance and filing requirements.
• Design tax‑efficient structures for M&A, restructurings and cross‑border investments.
• Provide technical support for tax litigation and disputes (court attendance not required).
• Act as subject‑matter expert on the Pillar 2 multinational tax regime and its implementation.
• Interpret and apply International Double Taxation Treaties.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
• Proven experience in corporate or international tax within a reputable law firm or Big 4 environment.
• Strong analytical approach to international tax law.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Pillar 2 GloBE rules.
• Expertise in interpreting International Double Tax Treaties.
• Advanced tax compliance and advisory capabilities.
