Vice President – Segments (Head) – Consumer Banking

About the role

The Vice President – Segments (Head) will define, own, and activate PayTech Group’s customer segmentation framework, turning deep customer insight into commercially impactful value propositions. Reporting to the Senior Vice President – Retail Marketing, the role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, data & analytics, product, and CX, driving growth, retention, and lifetime value across priority segments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain an enterprise‑wide segmentation framework that moves from demographic to behavioural, needs‑based, and value‑based segmentation.
• Partner with Data & Analytics to apply advanced analytics, propensity models, and CLV insights.
• Lead end‑to‑end proposition development – from insight to design, launch, optimisation, and retirement.
• Own proposition performance metrics such as penetration, revenue uplift, retention, and NPS.
• Translate customer insight into growth levers and embed propositions into P&L plans with Product, Marketing, Finance and Distribution teams.
• Act as a cross‑functional connector across Product, Marketing Digital, Insight, Analytics, CX and Frontline Distribution.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on marketing strategy, data analytics and product management.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive customer‑centric initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing P&L impact of propositions.
