About the role
American International University (AIU) in Kuwait seeks qualified civil engineering scholars to join its Visiting Faculty pool. The role involves delivering undergraduate courses, mentoring students, and supporting the department’s academic objectives on a full‑time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Teach introductory, general‑education, and selected major civil engineering courses.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lecture materials aligned with curriculum standards.
- Provide academic support to students both inside and outside the classroom.
- Collaborate with full‑time faculty on curriculum development and program assessment.
- Participate in periodic evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement of academic quality.
Required profile
- PhD in Civil Engineering.
- University‑level teaching experience in civil engineering.
- Industry experience in the teaching field is preferred.
- Commitment to academic quality and professional integrity.
