Visual Merchandiser – Living Room

About the role

ABYAT is seeking a Visual Merchandising Officer for the Living Room category to create inspiring, commercially effective displays across its retail stores in Kuwait. The role will translate visual concepts into store‑specific layouts, ensuring consistency and optimal product presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate visual merchandising updates for the Living Room category across operational stores.
• Support new range launches, seasonal refreshes, product launches, discontinued range changes, out‑of‑stock replacements and layout changes.
• Create and style living‑room displays, including sofas, coffee tables, TV units, chairs, side tables, rugs, cushions, curtains, lighting, wall décor and accessories.
• Translate visual concepts into clear store‑specific guidelines, floor plans, mock‑ups and layout plans.
• Use AutoCAD, SketchUp and other floor‑planning tools to prepare, update and communicate layouts.
• Apply compact space‑management principles to improve customer flow, product visibility and commercial impact.
• Collaborate with Business Units, Category, Marketing, Layout Execution, Store Operations, Inventory/Supply Chain and in‑store teams to ensure timely implementation.

Required profile

• Experience supporting planning, coordination and execution of visual merchandising activities.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver timely store updates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent visual standards across multiple locations.
