About the role
The Visual Merchandising (VM) Director will lead the creative vision and execution of store environments for a leading women’s fashion retailer in Kuwait. Reporting to senior management, this role ensures that every store reflects the evolving brand identity while driving commercial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the regional and in‑store VM teams, including VM managers.
- Direct visual merchandising planning for new store openings and refurbishments.
- Ensure new concepts align with the Group’s brand evolution and market trends.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers for props, fixtures, and materials.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in retail visual merchandising.
- At least 4 years in a Director or C‑level leadership role.
- Strong commercial visual merchandising portfolio demonstrating strategic impact.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency in SketchUp or similar 3D design tools.
