VP Investment Analytics & Performance Analysis

About the role

State Street is seeking a Vice President to lead investment analytics and performance analysis for a leading institutional investor. The role combines technical leadership, strategic advisory, and transformation delivery across performance measurement, risk analytics, reporting, data governance and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to senior management on investment performance measurement, risk analytics, reporting and governance.
• Provide technical leadership for performance measurement, attribution, benchmarking and analytics, ensuring data integrity and final quality control.
• Oversee data governance, quality and architecture, leading discussions on portfolio structures, benchmark frameworks and security master data.
• Lead strategic transformation projects, translating business requirements into operating models, workflows and technology solutions.
• Manage service providers, monitor delivery performance and resolve issues.
• Build and maintain relationships across investment, risk, operations, technology and finance functions.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of institutional investment operating models.
• Experience supporting enterprise investment platform implementations.
• Strong knowledge of investment data management and data governance frameworks.
• Experience across public and private market asset classes.
• Ability to prepare executive‑level performance reporting and commentary.
• Proven ability to influence strategic direction without direct line‑management authority.
