Women's Health Psychologist

About the role

The Women's Health Psychologist is a key clinical member of the Women’s Health Integrated Care team at a leading private multi‑specialty hospital in Kuwait. The role focuses on delivering evidence‑based psychological assessment, counseling, and therapeutic support to promote mental and emotional well‑being across all stages of women’s health.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy, mental health assessments, and treatment planning for patients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and adjustment challenges.
• Deliver evidence‑based psychological interventions tailored to women’s health, perinatal care, and integrated care settings.
• Collaborate closely with OB/GYNs, midwives, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Offer psychoeducation, ensure compliance with hospital quality standards, and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
• Valid psychology license or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in women’s health, perinatal care, or integrated care environments.
• Proficiency with psychological assessment tools and EMR documentation.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Strong empathy, active‑listening, cultural sensitivity, and a patient‑centered approach.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
