Workshop and Office Helper and Cleaner

About the role

A full-time position in East Ahmadi, Kuwait, for dependable workshop and office helpers and cleaners who keep workshop and office facilities clean, orderly and hygienic. The role covers routine cleaning, waste collection, replenishing cleaning supplies and general housekeeping under the direction of the workshop or facilities supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Clean workshop floors, walkways, offices, meeting rooms, washrooms and pantry areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust and clean surfaces with suitable equipment and approved products.
• Follow daily and periodic cleaning schedules and report completed work.
• Collect and segregate general waste and place it in designated areas; handle oily or industrial waste only as trained and instructed.
• Keep walkways, emergency exits and access areas clear.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report what needs replenishing.
• Assist with organizing storage and common areas, and report spills, leaks and damaged facilities promptly.
• Support basic workshop tasks such as moving light materials, and follow safe chemical handling procedures with protective equipment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in workshop, warehouse, industrial facility or office cleaning is preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and supervisor instructions.
• Reliability, punctuality and attention to cleanliness.
• Willingness to receive training in workshop housekeeping and safe cleaning practices.
