AI Solution/Platform Architect

About the role

The AI Solution/Platform Architect is responsible for defining technical designs that align with the Group AI reference architecture across all AI initiatives. This role works closely with delivery teams, OpCo technical staff, and the Director of Tech & Platforms to ensure solutions are robust, compliant, and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end AI technical solutions that adhere to the Group reference architecture.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide design guidance to delivery and OpCo teams.
• Resolve complex technical dependencies across enterprise systems, data sources, and platforms.
• Ensure OpCo AI implementations comply with Group standards or document approved exceptions.
• Partner with the Director of Tech & Platforms to evolve reference architecture and integration patterns.
• Support platform evaluation, vendor selection, and technical due diligence.
• Create architecture blueprints, design patterns, and reusable technical reference materials.
• Act as the escalation point for complex architecture challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of technology experience, including 5+ years in solution or enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience designing AI/ML solutions, enterprise integrations, and cloud architectures.
• Background in telecom BSS/OSS or similarly regulated industries is valuable.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
