Ammunition Manager Assistant

About the role

Join the team as an Ammunition Manager Assistant and support the U.S. Government in managing critical ammunition stocks for the Army across the CENTCOM area of responsibility. You will work onsite at the customer site, providing essential logistics and inventory expertise to ensure readiness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supply, inventory, and stockpile operations for all U.S. Army ammunition within USCENTCOM, including storage level planning and theater stock objectives.
• Coordinate training ammunition support, central requisitioning, force modernization, asset movement, redistribution, retrograde, foreign military sales, maintenance, demilitarization, and disposal.
• Provide asset visibility using systems such as SAAS, TAMIS, MHP, and NLAC.
• Identify shortages, recommend resupply actions, and monitor on‑hand stocks for war reserves, operational, and training ammunition.
• Track shipments by air, ground, and sea, and generate Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations on stock levels.
• Troubleshoot Class V schedule shipment issues and analyze pallet shortages by destination.
• Receive, evaluate, and approve Ammunition Basic Load (ABL) requests, maintaining up‑to‑date status reports.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for ammunition operations and contingency planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or four years of relevant experience).
• Minimum of an active Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship and a current passport with at least two years remaining.
• Ability to meet CENTCOM/CRC medical and deployment requirements for OCONUS assignments.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Kuwait work visa.
• At least 3 years of related experience, including 2 years of theater logistics experience.
