Beauty Advisor – Retail Cosmetics Sales

About the role

The Beauty Advisor represents the brand inside a cosmetics store, driving sales through exceptional customer service and a polished retail experience. You will assist shoppers in finding the right products, maintain visual standards, and ensure smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of a wide range of cosmetics and accessories.
• Provide personalized makeup advice and recommend products that meet customer needs.
• Maintain brand presentation standards, ensuring stock is attractively displayed.
• Handle the POS system, process cash, card, voucher and automatic debit payments accurately.
• Greet customers, convert window shoppers into buyers, and promote loyalty programs.
• Perform inventory recording, inward/outward stock tracking and reporting.
• Uphold store security, housekeeping, and visual merchandising guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of cosmetics products and current beauty trends.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Well‑groomed, presentable appearance at all times.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including extended periods during sales or festivals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
• Basic inventory management and reporting.
• Ability to process various payment methods accurately.
