C-12/King Air Army Transport Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P) in Kuwait

About the role

The C-12/King Air Army Transport Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P) is responsible for servicing, repairing, and overhauling assigned aircraft and subsystems to ensure airworthiness while deployed in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Perform operational checks on repaired or modified systems and verify proper function.
• Repair and replace aircraft structures, rigging, surface controls, plumbing, hydraulic units, and engine components using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret manufacturers' manuals, service bulletins, and technical orders to determine repair methods.
• Diagnose engine and turbine blade issues, conduct engine runs, and replace or repair faulty parts.
• Conduct miscellaneous aircraft servicing tasks such as flushing crankcases, cleaning screens, greasing moving parts, and brake checks.

Required profile

• US citizenship and ability to obtain a US Government Secret security clearance.
• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
• Seven years of hands‑on maintenance experience on C‑12/King Air (200/350/1900) turbo‑prop aircraft.
• Recent full‑time experience (within 12 months) on the same aircraft type.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Required skills

• FAA A&P Airframe and Powerplant certification.
• C‑12/King Air turbo‑prop aircraft maintenance expertise.
• Engine troubleshooting and diagnostic test equipment operation.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and aircraft‑specific tooling.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret technical manuals and service bulletins.
