Civil Site Engineer – 400kV Transmission Line (Kuwait)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to join our team immediately for a 400 kV Overhead Transmission Line project in Kuwait. The position focuses on supervising civil works for transmission line tower foundations and ensuring all activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities for tower foundations, including excavation, reinforcement, formwork, concreting, grouting and backfilling.
• Monitor daily site progress, manpower productivity and quality of materials and workmanship.
• Review civil and structural drawings, identify discrepancies and coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors and consultants.
• Prepare daily and weekly site reports, maintain records and liaise with the Planning Engineer on progress.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and coordinate inspections, testing and approvals with client/consultant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil works for HV/OHL projects, preferably 400 kV transmission lines.
• Proven experience with tower foundation construction and ability to manage subcontractors on site.
• Immediate availability.
