Commercial Project Manager

About the role

As a Commercial Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you will drive the financial and contractual success of complex energy projects. You will work closely with project teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure projects meet commercial, financial, and quality targets while supporting the company’s sustainable energy mission.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to deliver projects within agreed commercial, financial, time, and quality targets.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate effective project execution and maintain strong relationships.
• Manage and control project financial performance, including orders, revenue, costs, profit, cash flow, receivables, payables, inventory, and working capital.
• Support monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting, controlling, and financial reporting activities.
• Drive optimisation of project profitability, cash flow, and Net Capital Employed.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens Energy policies, contractual terms, financial reporting guidelines, and local regulations, managing contracts, claims, and risk/opportunity topics.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, International Business or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project controlling, commercial project management or a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and financial closing processes.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain audit‑ready documentation and support internal/external audits.
