Concierge Manager

About the role

The Concierge Manager leads the concierge and bell teams at Grand Hyatt Kuwait City, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient departmental operations. Reporting to senior management, the role combines administration, customer service, and financial oversight to uphold the hotel’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update departmental operation manuals weekly and ensure all meetings are well‑planned and results‑oriented.
• Participate in daily front‑office briefings, represent the concierge team, and provide up‑to‑date information on local attractions, events and dining venues.
• Manage the daily log book, hand‑over procedures, shift attendance records and flexible scheduling based on business patterns.
• Oversee vacation planning, monthly inventory checks, and control of equipment and supplies, including requisitioning and storage.
• Monitor costs, prepare accruals and recommend measures to control expenses.
• Build strong guest relationships, handle complaints and enquiries, and ensure the concierge team projects a warm, professional image.
• Maintain accurate guest history records and pre‑register recurring guests.
• Coordinate payroll management, resource allocation, and multi‑skilling of staff; assist in setting annual operating budgets and tracking financial performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in concierge or guest‑services management within a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities to supervise a team and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to analyse costs, prepare budgets and implement cost‑control initiatives.
• Attention to detail in maintaining records, inventories and operational manuals.
