Consultant Geriatrician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Geriatrician to deliver specialised medical care to elderly patients in Kuwait. The role involves comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of age‑related and chronic conditions, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical assessment and treatment for elderly patients.
• Diagnose and manage age‑related and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment and care plans and monitor patients’ health, medications and clinical progress.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Offer guidance to patients and families regarding treatment and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with healthcare standards.

Required profile

• Master’s or postgraduate degree in a relevant medical specialty.
• Several years of post‑graduation experience, including specific experience as a Geriatric Consultant or Specialist.
• GCI and GCA accreditation.
• Strong clinical expertise with the ability to communicate effectively in Arabic.
