Deputy Director of Programmes (Kuwait)

About the role

The Deputy Director – Programmes will lead the establishment of a new Project Management Office and drive technical and business transformation programmes for NATS in Kuwait. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget while aligning with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operationalise a Project Management Office, including processes, systems and tools.
• Plan, execute and deliver large‑scale technical and business transformation programmes.
• Develop detailed project plans covering timelines, milestones and resource allocation.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, providing direction, coaching and performance monitoring.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies and ensure effective stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define programme goals, priorities and success metrics.
• Optimise methodologies to improve efficiency, quality and delivery outcomes.
• Manage programme budgets and ensure financial accountability.
• Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and compliance with regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, delivering complex, multi‑disciplinary programmes.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale technical and business transformation initiatives.
• Experience delivering projects in the Middle East is preferred.
• Strong understanding of change management principles and industry standards.
• Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
