Integration Officer (IBM IIB/ACE & MQ)

About the role

The Integration Officer will design, develop and maintain integration solutions that connect enterprise applications using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM MQ. The role involves translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring reliable, secure API interactions across systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement integration flows with IBM IIB/ACE and MQ.
• Analyze business requirements and produce detailed technical specifications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot message queues and integration components.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Implement API security measures such as OAuth, authentication and authorization.
• Collaborate with development, product and other teams to define and document API requirements.
• Monitor API performance, ensure scalability and resolve integration issues.
