Environmental Specialist Level II – Environmental Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking an Environmental Specialist Level II to support the continued management of the KERP program, delivering sustainable restoration of contaminated sites. You will coordinate engineering tasks, supervise junior staff, and ensure compliance with contract specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise environmental engineering tasks, ensuring progress, quality, and adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Prepare and review contract documents, design criteria, scope of work, procedures, and design approaches for the environmental discipline.
• Liaise with other engineering disciplines to produce timely deliverables.
• Manage environment‑oriented studies and projects as assigned.
• Develop and improve company standards and environmental design methods.
• Produce technical reports, operating manuals, and other technical writing deliverables.
• Mentor and train new environmental engineering graduates.
• Work within the Quality Assurance system and follow OH&S safety procedures.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Subject‑matter expertise in environmental engineering with the ability to resolve complex issues.
• Commitment to delivering work that complies with applicable codes, standards, and contract requirements.
• Experience supervising engineers or graduates is preferred.
