Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Consultant/Specialist with strong expertise in endoscopy and gastrointestinal procedures to provide high‑quality patient care and manage complex gastroenterological cases in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including Upper GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy.
• Develop treatment plans and provide patient follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Support and guide junior medical staff when required.

Required profile

• Master’s/Post‑graduate qualification in Gastroenterology or a relevant specialty.
• Several years of post‑graduation experience for consultant level or relevant experience for specialist level.
• Specialized Endoscopy training or a 6‑12 month Endoscopy Fellowship.
• GCI and GCA accreditation (mandatory).
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, communication, and decision‑making skills.
