Generator Rebuild & HVAC Technician – EPP III Patriot (Kuwait)

About the role

The EPP III Patriot Generator Rebuild and HVAC Technician provides on‑site technical support for U.S. Army power generation and environmental control equipment in Kuwait. You will perform maintenance, overhaul, and troubleshooting on a range of military and commercial generators and HVAC systems.

Key responsibilities

• Overhaul, maintain and sustain 3 kW‑150 kW generators, including installation and removal from fixed and mobile locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair AC, DC, electronic control, and switch‑gear systems.
• Repair HVAC units, chillers and environmental control units on trailers, vehicles and standalone units.
• Operate load banks and dynometers for testing and performance verification.
• Fabricate wire harnesses, solder terminals and perform brazing of copper tubing.
• Work in both generator shop and field environments; perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School diploma + 6 years experience OR BA/BS + 2 years OR AA/AS + 4 years in generator/HVAC maintenance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance within 12 months of start.
• U.S. citizenship, passport valid ≥ 2 years, valid U.S. driver’s license and international driver’s permit.
• Pass all medical requirements for deployment to the CENTCOM area.
