QC Inspector Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Quality Control Inspector to join a reputable EPC contractor operating in Kuwait. The role involves ensuring that mechanical components and assemblies meet stringent quality and safety standards across petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas, desalination and power plant projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements of mechanical parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to verify compliance.
• Utilise metrology tools, calipers and gauges for accurate assessment.
• Identify and document defects, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Support ASME certification marking and adherence to industry quality standards.
• Collaborate with project teams on EPC and construction activities.

Required profile

• Three‑year diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of QC experience in EPC, construction or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with ASME certification processes for petrochemical and power projects.
• CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI certification is preferred.
