Registered Nurse – Night Shift, 2nd Floor Rehab

About the role

The Registered Nurse will work the night shift on the 2nd Floor Rehabilitation unit at Baptist Health, delivering safe, therapeutic and compassionate care to patients during the overnight hours.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and document all care activities.
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and follow unit policies and procedures.
• Participate in unit education and specialty training provided by the organization.

Required profile

• New RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Active Arkansas nursing license; BSN preferred.
• Ability to work as a full partner on an interdisciplinary team.
• Not currently participating in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program.
• Willing to work a night schedule (6:30 pm – 7:00 am) totaling 72 hours bi‑weekly.

Required skills

• Healthcare CPR certification (required).
• Training provided for ACLS, PALS and/or NALS as needed.
• Basic nursing knowledge to meet standard of care.
