Restaurant Maintenance Technician – Kuwait

About the role

The Restaurant Maintenance Technician ensures the uninterrupted, safe, and efficient operation of all restaurant equipment, kitchen machinery, and physical infrastructure. This hands‑on role requires proactive troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and rapid emergency repairs to keep the dining and kitchen environment running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on heavy commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, griddles, walk‑in coolers, freezers, dishwashers, and ice makers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly, especially during peak service hours.
• Maintain a comprehensive spare‑parts inventory and coordinate with vendors or manufacturers for warranty repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety codes and restaurant standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in restaurant or commercial kitchen maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment failures.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
