Sales Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Coordinator to support our sales and logistics teams. The role serves as the main point of contact for internal colleagues and external customers, ensuring smooth shipment handling and timely communication.

Key responsibilities

• Update external clients with daily shipment status reports.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers to secure shipping documents ahead of vessel arrivals and prepare clearance documents to avoid delays.
• Work with warehouses and transport companies to align delivery schedules and reduce demurrage payments.
• Verify ocean freight and forwarder charges within stipulated timeframes.
• Maintain internal tracking systems for shipment visibility.
• File original and copy documents, payment advices, and receipts accurately.
• Respond to customer complaints and provide after‑sales support.
• Support the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information.
• Process orders with accuracy and timeliness, informing clients of any unforeseen delays.
• Monitor team progress, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a sales coordinator.
• Team player with a high level of dedication.
• Strong organizational skills, detail‑oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
