Sales Executive – Commercial (Logistics)

About the role

The Sales Executive will retain existing customers and acquire new ones while upholding Alghanim Industries' values. The role contributes to the Logistics Sales budget by meeting personal targets and promoting the full range of products and services offered by the business unit.

Key responsibilities

• Secure new customers and develop existing accounts.
• Achieve and exceed revenue targets for the department.
• Generate a minimum number of sales leads as set by management and convert them into revenue‑generating business.
• Respond to customer communications promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, and Documentation to execute service contracts.
• Gather market information and participate in business development meetings.
• Follow up on client receivables with the Finance Controller.
• Maintain up‑to‑date lists of existing and potential customers.
• Prepare weekly activity reports, prospect lists, and sales call plans for the CSM.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends.
• Ensure customer satisfaction against set targets and maintain freight forwarding relationships.

Required profile

• University graduate.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in sales and marketing.
• Computer literacy.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Preferably a degree in International Trade, Shipping, Supply Chain Management, or any faculty.
• Professional grooming and appearance.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of local geography, language, traditions, and market dynamics.
