About the role
Senior Non-Key Expert – Human Development will provide high‑quality technical assistance for the EU‑funded “Egypt Downtown Facility” project, focusing on human capital development, education, skills, employment, labour‑market policies, social policy and institutional strengthening.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver analyses, sector assessments, policy recommendations and strategic background papers on education, skills development and labour‑market issues.
- Support capacity building and reform initiatives within Egyptian public institutions to enhance socio‑economic development.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in development studies, economics, education, social or public policy, labour economics or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in human development, education, skills development, employment or social policy, preferably in Egypt or the MENA region.
- Proven experience preparing sector assessments, policy analyses, strategies and recommendations, and supporting institutional capacity building.
- Fluent English (C1); Arabic and French are assets.
