About the role
Egis is looking for a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its team for a prestigious port project in Kuwait. As a key member of the project management team, you will oversee all aspects of quantity surveying, cost control and contract administration for this large-scale infrastructure development.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the quantity surveying function for the port project, ensuring accurate measurement and valuation of works
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to make sure project objectives are met
- Supervise and mentor junior quantity surveyors and team members
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 15 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure or port projects
- Knowledge of marine and port construction techniques
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work in Kuwait for the duration of the project
