About the role

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead the Grid Software business across the MENAT region. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will drive revenue growth, shape territory strategy, and partner with customers on their digital transformation and energy transition journeys.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and deliver orders, revenue, and growth targets for the MENAT territory.
  • Develop and execute territory strategy and account plans for short‑, medium‑, and long‑term growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders in utilities, transmission & distribution companies, government‑linked entities, EPCs, and system integrators.
  • Lead the full sales cycle for complex software and digital solutions, from prospecting to contract closure.
  • Identify customer challenges and translate them into value‑based software solutions that support grid modernization, reliability, and energy transition goals.
  • Position GE Vernova Grid Software offerings across solution areas such as grid operations, network visibility, asset performance, and digital grid.
  • Maintain high‑quality opportunity pipelines, accurate forecasts, and CRM discipline.
  • Drive commercial rigor, including bid strategy, pricing alignment, risk review, and margin optimization.
  • Coordinate with solutions architects, pre‑sales, product, legal, and delivery teams to craft winning propositions.
  • Lead strategic bids, competitive pursuits, and expand relationships with channel partners and EPCs.

Required profile

  • Commercially savvy professional with strong outcome‑based selling skills.
  • Deep understanding of the energy and utilities sector.
  • Proven ability to build senior‑level customer relationships and influence strategic decisions.
  • Passion for driving impact and contributing to a sustainable energy future.
  • Senior‑level experience in software or digital solution sales.
