Site Manager – Facility & Aircraft Arresting Systems

About the role

The Site Manager (SM) leads Warm Base Facilities Maintenance, Exercise/Operations Support, and Real‑World Deployment services. Reporting directly to the Contractor, the SM has full authority to manage daily operations, supervise personnel, and ensure quality control across a wide range of infrastructure systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and control all project activities using functional SOPs.
• Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, corrosion control, and operational analysis for real property, structural, mechanical, electrical, utility, fuel, and building control systems.
• Maintain operational capability of the base within a 7‑day notice period for exercises.
• Oversee extended‑operation support, including MWR, billeting, custodial, and DFAC services.
• Directly manage key sub‑contracts to meet contract requirements.
• Supervise and execute maintenance of power generation, electrical distribution, HVAC, refrigeration, water and wastewater, fuel systems, hazardous waste storage, pavement, and minor construction work.
• Operate and maintain aircraft arresting systems, catapults, and associated mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Provide additional services such as locksmith, pest management, heavy equipment operation, fire extinguisher exchange, key control, and vehicle inspections.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing warm‑base facilities and overseeing complex maintenance operations.
• Ability to supervise personnel, coordinate sub‑contracts, and ensure compliance with performance work statements.
• Authority to act on behalf of the Contractor for daily operational decisions.
