Specialist Gastroenterologist (Endoscopy)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Consultant/Specialist to deliver high‑quality patient care in Kuwait. The role focuses on diagnosing and managing complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions, with a strong emphasis on endoscopic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including Upper GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure thorough patient follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate clinical records while upholding patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and mentor junior medical staff as needed.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate qualification in Gastroenterology or a related specialty.
• Several years of post‑graduation experience at consultant or specialist level.
• Specialized Endoscopy training or a 6‑12 month Endoscopy fellowship.
• GCI and GCA accreditation.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, communication and decision‑making abilities.
