Gastroenterology & Endoscopy Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Consultant/Specialist with strong expertise in Endoscopy and Gastrointestinal procedures to provide high-quality patient care and manage complex gastroenterological cases. The role is based in Kuwait and involves diagnosing, treating, and performing endoscopic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including Upper GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy.
• Develop treatment plans and provide patient follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Support and guide junior medical staff when required.

Required profile

• Master’s/Postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology or relevant specialty.
• Several years post‑graduation experience for Consultant level.
• Several years relevant experience for Specialist level.
• Specialized Endoscopy training or 6‑12 month Endoscopy Fellowship.
• Proven experience in Gastroenterology and Endoscopic procedures.
• GCI & GCA accreditation mandatory.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, communication, and decision‑making skills.
