About the role
The WRM Logistics Technician ensures continuity, planning, accountability and reporting of deployed expeditionary assets, tools, equipment and commodities for United States Navy personnel supporting Air Force Central Command locations in Southwest Asia. The role involves monthly inventory of WRM equipment, MRSP kits and consumables, and close coordination with Civil Engineer squadrons and Defense Logistics Agency services.
Key responsibilities
- Provide continuity, planning, accountability and reporting of deployed expeditionary assets and accountable tools, equipment, and commodities.
- Conduct monthly inventory of WRM equipment, MRSP kits and non‑equipment consumables physically present on‑site.
- Track accountable tools and shop equipment for Civil Engineer (CE) shops using ECES R‑14 accountability reports.
- Annotate all shipments, receipts and transfers to DLA Disposition Services and maintain current month inventory.
- Research and document missing items; coordinate receipt and pickup of inbound equipment and consumables.
- Ensure proper procedures are used to replace Harvest Falcon equipment, assets and consumables.
- Maintain and operate the Harvest Falcon equipment yard.
- Submit redistribution requests for serviceable and unserviceable excess equipment and comply with disposition instructions.
- Report serviceable/unserviceable excess for disposition and initiate transfer of accountability requests.
- Provide monthly accountability and inventory reports.
Required profile
- Must be a United States Navy (USN) member with a minimum of two years’ experience.
- Self‑motivated, organized and able to solve complex problems.
- Able to work as an embedded contractor within the USAF Civil Engineer Squadron.
- Must follow military rules, regulations, corporate policy and safety directives.
- Licensed to operate 4 K, 6 K and 10 K forklifts.
- Working knowledge of AFI 23‑101, 25‑101, Block III equipment management, pallet build‑up and hazardous material management.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow‑up.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and provide customer‑service orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other computer software programs.
Required skills
- Operation of barcode scanners and inventory software.
- Use of laptop computers for inventory tasks.
- Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Forklift operation (4 K, 6 K, 10 K).
- Knowledge of WRM BEAR/RADR assets and supply chain operations.
