AH-64E Helicopter Instructor & Operator

About the role

The AH-64E Instructor/Operator will deliver high‑quality simulator instruction for the AH‑64E helicopter and act as the technical expert for Kuwaiti Air Force aircrew training. Based at Ali Al Salem Air Base, the role supports mission setup, instruction, evaluation and simulator operation under U.S. Army training standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced AH‑64E flight instruction following the U.S. Army Aircrew Training Manual.
• Train pilots on aircraft systems, instrument flight, mission planning, emergency procedures and Night Vision Goggle (NVG) operations.
• Develop and configure simulator scenarios, including fault insertion, weather control and tactical mission profiles.
• Conduct pre‑flight briefings, in‑flight instruction, post‑flight debriefs and formal performance evaluations.
• Maintain simulator readiness through inspections, equipment troubleshooting and facility logistics.
• Serve as SME for training manuals, SOPs and courseware, updating materials to meet U.S. Army and host‑nation standards.

Required profile

• Prior AH‑64E Instructor Pilot experience at company level or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree and graduation from the U.S. Army AH‑64E Instructor Pilot and Methods of Instruction course.
• U.S. citizenship with a valid passport (minimum 2 years validity).
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to obtain work permit and residency visa for Kuwait.
