Arabic (Iraqi) Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an Arabic (Iraqi) language specialist to help improve large‑scale AI language models. You will work remotely, interacting directly with the model in Iraqi Arabic, identifying linguistic gaps, and providing feedback that shapes future AI capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in conversational sessions with the AI across diverse topics using Iraqi Arabic.
• Verify linguistic accuracy, dialectal nuances, and cultural relevance of model outputs.
• Document error traces and failure modes in a reproducible manner.
• Suggest enhancements to prompt engineering, evaluation metrics, and data collection processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Linguistics, Middle Eastern Studies, Translation, or a related field (preferred).
• Professional experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work involving Iraqi Arabic.
• Strong metacognitive communication skills – ability to “show your work” clearly.
