Artificial Lift Systems Field Specialist – ESP

About the role

We are looking for an Artificial Lift Systems Field Specialist to operate and maintain Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) equipment in the field. The role involves installing, testing, and troubleshooting ESP systems while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, run, inspect, modify and repair ESP pumps, motors, cables and related down‑hole equipment at the contractor’s base.
• Make surface connections and operate ESP equipment to meet client specifications.
• Perform pre‑commissioning checks and tests to guarantee successful start‑up and continuous operation.
• Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting, safety precautions and related matters.
• Repair breakdowns and carry out routine maintenance on ESP equipment.
• Install, operate and maintain Y‑tool and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with ESP systems.
• Technical degree (diploma or higher) in a relevant field.
• Hands‑on experience with Y‑tool and VSD system installation, operation and maintenance.
• Proven ability to perform down‑hole troubleshooting of ESP equipment in the field.
• Willingness to work on a rotational shift basis.
