Aviation Cargo Sales Executive – Kuwait

About the role

Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share for DHL Aviation Cargo Sales (ACS) in Kuwait through strategic sales initiatives. Manage customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure customer requirements are supported via coordination with operational and regional ACS teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the ACS sales strategy for Kuwait aligned with regional and global objectives.
• Achieve and exceed revenue, volume, yield, and profitability targets.
• Identify, secure, and develop new business opportunities with freight forwarders, consolidators, logistics providers, and key cargo customers.
• Manage and grow existing customer portfolios through regular engagement and solution‑based selling.
• Build strong relationships with external customers and key decision‑makers to ensure retention and growth.
• Collaborate with Capacity Management, Operations, Gateway, and MENA ACS teams to optimize capacity utilization.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to shape commercial responses and pricing.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage quotations, agreements, and proposals per company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting using approved CRM tools.
• Participate in customer visits, industry events, and business development activities to promote DHL ACS services.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in air cargo, airline, freight forwarding, aviation logistics, or cargo sales.
• Proven track record in business development and account management.
• Experience within international logistics, airline cargo, or express industry preferred.
• Strong commercial negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or aviation management (or equivalent).
