Building Materials Sales Executive

About the role

The Building Materials Sales Executive works full‑time on‑site in Shuwaikh, promoting Al‑Tuhoo’s extensive range of construction and building materials. The role focuses on generating new business with contractors, developers and retail customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities with contractors, developers and retail customers.
• Meet clients, prepare and follow up on quotations, negotiate pricing and terms.
• Process orders in coordination with logistics and finance teams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and conduct market and competitor analysis.
• Provide feedback to management on customer needs and market trends.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular follow‑up, handling inquiries and complaints.
• Support promotional activities, exhibitions and trade shows as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in building materials or construction.
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills, able to conduct meetings, presentations and negotiations.
• Basic commercial and financial acumen, including experience with quotations, pricing and margins.
• Familiarity with construction practices and building‑materials product ranges.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and prioritize multiple clients.
• Valid Kuwaiti driving licence and willingness to travel locally for client visits.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• High‑school diploma required; diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field preferred.
